1. fugitīvus -ī, m begun(ec), ubežnik, uskok;
a) pobegli suženj: Kom., S. fr., Cu. idr., non vident id se cupere, quod … fugitivo alicui aut gladiatori concedi sit necesse? Ci., bellum fugitivorum (z ubežniki) Ci., (Dionysius) vivebat cum fugitivis Ci., fugitivi L. Aemilii C., sacerdotis fugitivus H. suženj, ki uteče svečeniku (ker noče jesti le darilnih kolačev); kot psovka za sužnje: Kom., Ci.; pren.: teque ipsum vitas fugitivus et erro H.
b) = pobegli vojak: Dig., Vop.

2. fugitīva -ae, f pregnanka: si qua peregrino nubit fugitiva marito Sen. tr.
